Fishing Waters
Fish species – pike and perch ( Pike up to 14 kg / 113 cm and 2,2 kg perch were caught by the test fishermen 2013.
Accomodation - The villa is 300m from the Skellefte River.
Fishing season –  Late May to early September. Your license covers fishing in two license areas from Rengård powerplant to Vargfors power plant (18 km).
Fishing methods - Mainly spin casting and jerk-baits. Fly fishing is a rewarding method to fish for big pike at the surface.
Fishing regulations - Pike less than 3 kg may be kept for consumption. All pike over 3 kg must be released. Perch less than 1kg may also be kept for consumption. Larger fish should be released for sustainabilty of breeding stock.
Boats - Our boats are inflatable Outland 360 boats with 5 hp motors. They have an aluminum floor, perfect to fish from as they have a flat floor and are able to navigate very shallow areas.

Places of Interest

 

When Svansele wilderness exhibition 10 km away started they showed Sweden's five biggest predators, the lynx, wolf, bear, wolverine, and our two large eagle species; sea eagles and golden eagles. Today the exhibition, has more than 680 different animals. The "Wilderness Menu Meal " is cooked over an open fire and served on rustic wooden plates with wooden cutlery. Drop-in season  for the wilderness exhibition is in summertime from 23 June to 17 August 2014.

 

Skellefteå 53.8 km away -  for natural and historical reasons, much of skellefteå revolves around the river. This is why the river and its environs are an excellent way of getting to know the town. Go from the town centre to the Nordanå cultural centre with its range of cultural events such as exhibitions, a museum, an old village shop and an activity area for excursions and recreation. A little like New York central park, if you will. You will have hardly left the Nordanå area before stepping into a bygone time and one of the town’s most well-known and well-preserved historical landmarks, Bonnstan. Dating back to the 17th century, this is the name used by the people of Skellefteå for the church village. Its 116 houses feature 392 well-preserved rooms that capture the flavour of times gone by
